- Device Information: Device type, operating system, app version
- Usage Data: Features used, time spent in app, interaction patterns
- Technical Data: IP address, app crashes, performance metrics
1.3 Payment and Subscription Information
We do NOT collect or store your credit card or payment details. All payment processing is handled securely by Apple and Google.

- Product ID (which plan you purchased)
- Receipt validation data (for verification only)
- Auto-renewal status
- From Google Play Store:

- From RevenueCat:
- Anonymous user ID (linked to your account)
- Subscription tier and status
- Purchase and renewal history
- Subscription expiration dates
What We Do NOT Receive:
- Credit card numbers
- Bank account information
- CVV/security codes
- Billing addresses (unless provided separately)
- Full payment card details
Payment Security: Your actual payment information is only stored by Apple or Google in their secure payment systems. We never have access to your full payment details.

- Active Accounts: We retain your data while your account is active
- Deleted Accounts: Personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days of account deletion
- Chat History: Stored for service improvement unless you delete your account
- Subscription Data: Subscription transaction records are retained for 7 years for:
- Tax compliance and reporting
- Legal obligations
- Fraud prevention
- Dispute resolution
- Payment Receipts: Anonymized purchase records retained per legal requirements (even after account deletion)
- Anonymized Analytics: Usage statistics may be retained indefinitely in anonymized form
5. Subscription and Payment Privacy
5.1 In-App Purchase Data
When you make an in-app purchase:

To verify your subscription status, we exchange anonymized tokens with Apple/Google:
- No personal payment data is transmitted to our servers
- Only subscription status (active/inactive) is verified
- Verification happens automatically when you open the app
5.3 Refunds and Disputes
For payment issues, refund requests, or billing disputes:
- iOS: Contact Apple Support or request refund through reportaproblem.apple.com
- Android: Contact Google Play Support
- We do not have access to refund functionality or billing systems
- Subscription data may be shared with Apple/Google for dispute resolution
5.4 Cancellation Data
When you cancel your subscription:
- We receive notification of cancellation from Apple/Google
- Your access continues until the end of the paid period
- No refund is processed (per our Terms)
- Cancellation data is retained for analytics purposes

You have the right to:
- Access Your Data: View your personal information in the app
- Update Information: Modify your profile and settings
- Delete Account: Permanently delete your account and all associated data

- Authentication: Secure Google OAuth authentication
- Access Controls: Limited employee access to user data

However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's Privacy
Josie is not intended for users under 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If we discover that a child has provided personal information, we will delete it immediately.

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

The mobile app uses:

- No Web Cookies: We do not use browser cookies in the mobile app
